So he went to Corinth, where Diogenes was contemplating his theories as he lay in the sun. Alexander stood over him and said, “I am Alexander, conqueror of worlds; put forward your request and it shall be done.” Diogenes squinted up at him, shook his head, and said, “Just get out of my light.”
