Not only was James fired but he was publicly shamed for reporting on existing research, research which to any reasonable observer, is non-controversial. James made the ultimate mistake. He failed to understand the request for feedback was an empty one, that critical consideration of all sides of an argument was undesirable, even anathema to the cause.”
