“I don’t even know what we were fighting about most of the time. We were staying in the Ronald McDonald House and the walls to those rooms are paper thin. We didn’t want to disturb the other families so instead of screaming we were whispering. We were whispering our screams at each other. One night it was just too much for me to deal with within those quiet walls. I grabbed the keys and whisper-snapped, “I’m going outside.”
