“The phrases “ask forgiveness” and “ask for forgiveness” do not appear even once in any New Testament epistle. In fact, while these phrases appear about a dozen times in the Qur’an, they don’t show up anywhere in the Bible at all! While it’s a very religious move to ask for forgiveness, the plain fact is that God works within a blood-based economy, so it’s not about asking.”
