I was in prison for twenty-one years, and I don’t think that it is easier to be a Christian in America than in Romania under the Communist regime. In America, we don’t have to suffer imprisonment, torture, and so on, but spiritually, it is very difficult to keep the true Faith here. There are so many temptations on every side that it’s a true fight to maintain your faith in Christ.”
